What’s next? Are you afraid of what’s around the corner in 2021?
“Start worrying; details will follow.” The old phrase fills the atmosphere and captures what is in the hearts of both believers and nonbelievers.
Holy Spirit baptism is the foundation for overcoming every barrier that stands before us.
I have known this to be true since I became a spirit-baptized believer. Jesus surrendered to the Holy Spirit at all times. The Holy Spirit led him, and if I am to have the Spirit of Christ, I must do the same. You must do the same.
— The Holy Spirit will shatter the spirit of fear.
— The Holy Spirit will shatter the spirit of doubt.
— The Holy Spirit will shatter condemnation.
— The shatter will break even our inward weakness.
— The Holy Spirit will give us whatever is needed to be more than a conquer, no matter what obstacle we face or fear.
“I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people” (Eph. 1:17-18).
God has been answering this prayer of believers for 2,000 years.
These verses unlock extravagant love, generosity and the power of being led by the Holy Spirit. Learning to feel His presence during prayer opens the eyes of our understanding. Waiting in His presence gives us wisdom and revelation. Listening in His presence develops the hope of His calling. In His presence grows the supernatural authority of trust.
What is coming next? I know I am looking for His return. But whatever comes next, I know if we surrender to Him, He will give us His power. If we disregard and snub the Holy Spirit, this generation will be lost along with our personal growth and purpose.
When I was 18, God gave me the initial physical evidence of speaking in tongues. That was the start of an adventure into the heart of God. Today, ask for the gift promised by God the Father for all His children. Jesus said that if you ask, you will receive.
You are beautiful; I see Jesus in You. Have an awesome week!
