Are you stuck in last season?
Between the elections, the pandemic, and social unrest, many people are having trouble pushing to the next stage of change.
The Holy Spirit has brought alive in me the word “PUSH!”
To me, “Push” represents the extraordinary transitional moment of giving birth to new life.
God sees the beginning of life at conception. He loves the womb as it was designed to replicate life, safety, and change.
Supernatural development, awesome wonder, and surprises happen in the womb. It is where your fingers grow, your lungs start to develop, and your heart begins to beat. What a miracle!
Mom goes through life-altering changes during gestation. Her womb begins to grow, and her body changes rapidly. Mom’s body changes as the baby’s body develop. They grow together.
There are so many milestones that only Mom can feel. The first time the baby moves, I’m told, it feels like small butterflies in Mom’s stomach. Over time, as the baby grows, these subtle movements can hurt and even break Mom’s ribs! The changes get more intense and evident as the body prepares for birth.
The massive changes that happen to baby and mom during gestation blow my mind! The significance of each development brings something new.
The GREATEST thing the womb does is it protects the baby until it is time for the Exodus. Mom’s body can undergo tremendous pressures and stress while keeping the baby safe. If you don’t have a womb, the baby can’t grow; it won’t develop.
Once the baby is ready to come earthside, Mom’s body changes even further. The body spent months preparing for this moment, and everything within Mom tries to PUSH the baby into the world. Finally, the body spurs into action, and after great intensity and a final PUSH, we hear cries of LIFE!
Push is the transition between Genesis (the beginning) and Exodus (the breakthrough). Genesis is the womb of developing a nation that ends with the people of God pushed into the Exodus.
God is birthing the cries for revival.
Now’s the time as the body of Christ is being hurled into the next stage.
PUSH!
Give birth to something new.
