Three thoughts have been on my mind:
1. There must be refreshing.
2. There must be a revival.
3. There must be a shattering of ruts.
When my daily routine becomes a rut, life is frustrating. It’s only obvious in retrospect that I was stuck. Albert Einstein said, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results.”
Progress is accomplished with forward motion. Rhythm and routine get great things accomplished. For many of us, turmoil and storms have us rooted in the past, unable to move forward.
God is calling people to step out in faith; he is looking for risk-takers. It is the time for believers to be bold, brave and bright. I don’t want to live the next 25 years of my life timidly. I don’t want to be stuck!
I believe radical and dangerous believers will mark this season. Doubt, fear, condemnation, weakness and death are growing in the hearts of many. The spirit of darkness and decay is everywhere. But in this darkness, you have the opportunity to be salt and light!
God is looking for water-walkers to get out of the boat of routine and step into what’s next.
Routines of prayer, time in the Word and the power of the Holy Spirit will make you stronger. Discipline means you’re a disciple of Christ growing in your relationship with Him. Now is the time for moves of faith.
There are words of extravagant wisdom from Solomon in Proverbs 11:25 (NIV), “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”
Here is how my heart focuses on this passage:
1. “A generous person will prosper”—Routine shatters ruts and leads to growth.
2. “whoever refreshes others”—Refreshing shatters greed.
3. “will be refreshed”—Revival that shatters death.
Dwelling in the past will not change your future. It will only make you miss the present. If you tell me it’s not the past that’s hard, but the here and now, remember this, Psalm 39:7 (MEV) says, “Now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You.” He is bigger than whatever keeps you from stepping out in faith.
If you can’t move, sit back and watch the body of Christ get to work. Better yet, join us!
The church will not fail, go under or be defeated. The Lord will not fail you. Prepare now to receive the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit in history!
You beautiful; I see Jesus in you! Have an awesome week.
