Revival is the “new normal” we need.
The overwhelming revelation of the 2020 pandemic is the world’s undeniable vulnerability to the unknown. Anxiety-riddled questions fill the media and minds of citizens; to open or not open? Physical health or financial increase? To wait or to move?
I hear many people say we can’t go back to the way things were.
In a few weeks, perhaps months, we will return to the same old, same old. That is not a prophecy or a medical opinion; that is a keen sense for the obvious.
To me, the question is, will this crisis in any way change the way we think? Will there be a change, even a heart transformation in the way we respond to life, God and others? Or will we become more entrenched in a world that creates walls and barriers between the lost and the Good News?
There are enough bad views and fake news. I want to challenge you to give the Good News! When you do, people will not accept a “new normal” but repent and be transformed by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Right now, even in hopelessness or fear, I know you have a deep desire for adventure. God designed us for purpose, provision and favor.
When you proclaim the Good News, you will come under attack. Look at the attacks against Franklin Graham or Jim Bakker. Don’t let the bad views drown out the messages of hope and faith. Cheer up! Every attack from the enemy shall pass, and if you hold firm to your faith, you will go on an extraordinary adventure into the heart of God.
Dare to stand and proclaim that:
—God is the answer to the direction of life.
—God wants to bless you because you are His creation.
—the God of the universe wants you to surrender your life to the one who died on the cross to set you free from sin,
—and that He wants to have a personal, loving relationship with you.
Buckle up in prayer! Strap on the Word! Lift up your voice! Build up, people!
If you don’t want to live in a “new normal,” but in times of His extravagant love, generosity and power, don’t go with the flow. Join me in fervent prayer and proclaim the powerful Word of God, to see an outpouring of supernatural grace and harvest greater than any other since the day of Pentecost.
Paul states in Romans 1:16-17, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel [of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith. As it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.'”
In the end, God has not abdicated the throne. He is alive! The Alpha and Omega is finishing what He started. He is preparing His bride for the wedding of the ages.
You’re beautiful. I see Jesus in you.
Have a great week!
